On Saturday, Sacramento Kings guard Dennis Schröder led Germany to a 107-88 victory over Lithuania, scoring 26 points and securing the first spot in the final 16 of EuroBasket.

Orlando Magic’s Franz Wagner contributed significantly with 24 points and seven rebounds, while Daniel Theis added 23 points to help Germany achieve its third consecutive win.

For Lithuania, Rokas Jokubaitis netted 20 points and Denver Nuggets center Jonas Valančiūnas scored 14 points, as the team holds a record of 2-1.

Lithuania narrowed the gap to 55-51 during the third quarter, but Wagner’s six points during an 8-2 run helped Germany maintain control and seal the victory.

As reigning world champions, Germany has secured its progression from Group B with a perfect 3-0 record. The top four teams from each of the four groups of six will advance to the knockout stage in Riga, Latvia, scheduled between September 6-14.
