Ermal Kuqo Takes the Helm as Knicks Senior Director of Minor League Operations After Successful EuroLeague Career

Ermal Kuqo, a former EuroLeague player known for his lengthy tenure at Anadolu Efes, has taken on the role of Senior Director of Minor League Operations with the New York Knicks.

As reported by Mike Scotto of Hoopshype, “Kuqo has dedicated the last nine years to the Los Angeles Clippers, where he served as the Director of International Pro Scouting. His career spanned 14 years in professional basketball abroad, with eight of those years spent at Anadolu Efes.”

Born in 1980 in Albania, Kuqo later acquired Turkish citizenship and represented Turkey in international competitions from 2004 to 2010.

Widely regarded as the greatest Albanian basketball player in history, he fulfilled his dream of competing for his native country during the latter part of his career in the summer of 2010.
