This agreement ensures that Washington will remain with the Mavericks until the conclusion of the 2029–30 season, creating a sense of stability for both the athlete and the organization as they aim for greater achievements in the NBA.

During the 2024–25 season, Washington showcased his talents in Dallas, averaging 14.7 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 2.3 assists across 57 games, while contributing around 32 minutes per game. His reliable and versatile play makes him an integral part of the Mavericks’ lineup.
