Brooklyn Nets Rookie Nolan Traoré Committed to Speed and Success in NBA Debut

Nolan Traoré, a rookie for the Brooklyn Nets, is entering the NBA with a strong sense of assurance and determination.

After spending the previous year playing professionally in France with Saint Quentin, he believes that experience has equipped him to handle the league’s intensity.

“My time playing at a professional level last year clearly benefited me and has made me even more ready for this,” Traoré shared, according to BeBasket.

Coach Jordi Fernandez praised Traoré’s offensive abilities, noting, “His ability to drive to the basket not only contributes to scoring but also helps to pull in defenders, allowing him to find teammates open at the three-point line.”

When discussing the expectations placed on him, Traoré remarked, “This means I need to be the quickest player on the court. Every single game — and with 82 of them, that’s quite a lot. I just have to prioritize my physical fitness.”

Although Traoré faced challenges in his Summer League debut, scoring only 7 points with a shooting percentage of 30%, he remains optimistic.

“We all experience training camps like this,” he stated, eager to demonstrate his true capabilities once the official season kicks off.
