“Actually, I was at Pick’n Save, right?” Giannis began. “While I was checking out my groceries… I noticed a guy about to grab a purse from a woman,” the Bucks star revealed.
“So I was like, ‘Hey man, what do you think you’re doing? Stop that,’” he explained after the game against the Kings. “I grabbed him, but he turned and elbowed me in the eye,” he told the reporter. “Then I managed to pin him down, take the purse, and hand it back to the lady… and she was safe,” the Greek player elaborated.
“I even paid for her groceries since she was in shock and all,” he added with a laugh. “Then the police arrived and took the guy away. After that, I just went back home.”
