Senguns 26-Point Double-Double Sparks Rockets to Victory, Unveils Teams Winning Formula

Alperen Sengun recorded a double-double with 26 points and 11 rebounds, leading the Houston Rockets to a 110-102 victory over the Dallas Mavericks at Toyota Center. Playing nearly 40 minutes on Monday, he extended the team’s lead with a crucial basket with 1:30 left in the game, finishing the night with a shooting line of 10-of-22, which included 10-of-20 on two-point attempts. He also contributed six assists and one steal.

“We dropped a couple of close ones in our first two games. Now we’ve identified who needs the ball in crucial situations. We are still learning, and time is on our side. With a new team and KD joining us, a lot has shifted. We have some kinks to work out, but things will become increasingly manageable,” said the 23-year-old Turkish center, reflecting on their bounce back to a 4-2 record in the 2025-26 NBA Regular Season with their fourth consecutive win.

Off the bench for the Rockets, Swiss player Clint Capela added four points, eight rebounds, and two blocks.
