The Philadelphia 76ers 2024 free agency plan began a year ago in 2023 when James Harden opted in to his player option for last season and requested a trade to the Los Angeles Clippers.

It was in that early moment where Philadelphia went and met with Rich Paul of clutch sports who represents Tyrese Maxey and asked their young point guard to wait on a presumptive max rookie contract extension to therefore allow the Sixers to evaluate James Harden’s trade market, take back all one year deals and then enter free agency this summer right now with the most cap space of any team and then the ability to resign Maxi there, Max’s patience got rewarded with a full five year maximum contract league.

Sources confirmed the Yahoo Sports and now he also has a new big three running mate next to Joel and Bead and former Clippers all-star wing Paul George.

This was the exact vision that Philadelphia had all along.

Paul George was the number one player on the Sixers board of wish lists to go and get and fill out that third star, a two way wing who can both be an on ball creator when, when Maxie is off the floor and a complimentary secondary floor spacer and ball handler.

When Maxie and Joel and Bead are together playing pick and roll.

This is Phillies counter punch to New York going out and getting Mchale Bridges.

This is how they try to claw closer with Boston and the reigning champions in the Eastern conference.

And it really does seem that the next representative in the NBA finals from the East is going to be one of these three teams up and down.

I 95.
