The 6-4 guard, a 2020 Pike grad, played one season at Eastern Arizona College, then two at Southeastern Community College in Iowa, where he averaged 13.2 points and shot 41.6% from the 3-point line over two seasons. Bailey started 24 games last season at Ball State, averaging 12.6 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists and shot 42.5% from the 3-point line. Incarnate Word was 8-23 last year in Shane Heirman’s first year as coach. Heirman was the coach at La Lumiere from 2014-17 before going on to coach at DePaul and Central Michigan as an assistant. Bailey should be an all-conference level player for the Cardinals.
