The Blue Devils, led by freshman phenom Cooper Flagg, are looking to get back to the Final Four for the first time under third-year coach Jon Scheyer, who took over for legendary coach Mike Krzyzewski after the 2021-22 season.
The Tar Heels, who also last reached the Final Four in 2022, return a load of experience from last season’s roster, including fifth-year senior guard RJ Davis. Davis, a consensus All-American last season, is coming off a career-high 21.2 points per game in 2023-24.
