The Golden State Warriors announced Monday that an MRI showed Stephen Curry has no structural damage to his ankle. Curry exited Sunday’s 112-104 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers. While the MRI results were mostly positive, Curry does have a left peroneal strain that will keep him out of action until at least the end of the week.

Curry tweaked his left ankle two different times against the Clippers, both in the second half. The first time he left the court but was able to return after just a few minutes. The second time, however, Curry rolled his ankle and limped off the court, visibly in pain. He was ruled out a few minutes later.

The Warriors said Curry will be reevaluated Friday, which means he’ll miss at least the next two games (Oct. 29 and 30, both against the New Orleans Pelicans). Those will be the team’s fourth and fifth games of the season. Through the first three games, the Warriors are 2-1.
