After one of the most memorable years in program history, the 2024-25 college basketball season is set to be a special one for the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Even despite losing a significant numbers of players off that 2023-24 team, Alabama now enters 2024-25 as one of the most talented teams in all of college basketball. With that talent, Alabama is also looking to build off the program’s first Final Four appearance a year ago, with their sights firmly set on the Crimson Tide’s first-ever national championship in basketball.

2023-24 Record: 25-12 overall (13-5 in SEC)

Preseason Ranking: No. 2 in AP Poll, No. 2 in Coaches Poll

Alabama enters the 2024-25 season considered as one of college basketball’s top teams, as the Crimson Tide are ranked No. 2 nationally in both the AP and Coaches Polls, and were picked to win the SEC in the preseason. The Crimson Tide are also coming off a 2023-24 season in which the program reached the Final Four as a No. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
