Bryce Hopkins has been named to the Naismith Trophy watch list for the second straight year.
The Providence College senior enters the 2024-25 campaign among 50 players on the radar for national men’s college basketball Player of the Year honors.
Hopkins was a preseason All-Big East selection at the league’s media day in October and is expected to return early this season from a long-term left knee injury. He played in just 14 games in 2023-24, averaging 15.5 points and 8.6 rebounds. Providence forward Bryce Hopkins hangs from the rim after making a basket against the Butler during a game last December. He suffered a knee injury in January and played only 14 games last season.
