In their last four encounters during the NBA Regular Season, the Portland Trail Blazers have remained undefeated. This trend continued in their most recent game, where they triumphed over the Nets in Brooklyn with a score of 121-102.
A key player in this successful stretch has been Toumani Camara, a 24-year-old forward from Belgium, who played a significant role by scoring 19 points, grabbing 3 rebounds, and dishing out 4 assists against the Brooklyn Nets.
Throughout February, the Portland Trail Blazers posted an 8-4 record as they sought to narrow the gap in the race for the Play-In tournament. During this period, Camara averaged 12.5 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 2.1 steals per game, with shooting percentages of 51.5% from the field and an impressive 93.8% from the free-throw line.

Although he has yet to make his debut for the Belgian national team, he could have the opportunity to represent Belgium this summer after the team officially secured a spot in the FIBA EuroBasket 2025.
Camara’s only previous experience wearing the national team’s colors consists of participating in Division B of the 2016 FIBA U16 European Championship, where he averaged 2.4 points and 2.9 rebounds per game as a young athlete.
He was selected 52nd overall in the 2023 NBA Draft by the Phoenix Suns, following a collegiate career from 2019 to 2023 with the Georgia Bulldogs and Dayton Flyers. Shortly thereafter, he was traded to the Portland Trail Blazers as part of the deal involving Jusuf Nurkic and DeAndre Ayton.
