Guided by Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Milwaukee Bucks triumphed over the Dallas Mavericks with a score of 132-117, securing fourth place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 34-25.
Giannis came close to achieving a triple-double, ending the game with 29 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists, while the Bucks improved to 21-1 when they score at least 120 points.
Despite having entered the match with a free-throw shooting percentage of just 58%, Antetokounmpo converted 11 of 13 attempts from the line against Dallas.
Damian Lillard contributed 28 points, and together they scored Milwaukee’s last 13 points before halftime, flipping a one-point deficit into an eight-point lead. Lillard then initiated the second half with a basket, fueling a 10-2 run that expanded the lead to 81-65.
Next up, Milwaukee will face Atlanta on Tuesday, and the Bucks are set to take on the Mavericks again in Milwaukee on Wednesday.
