Headline: Clippers European Trio Leads the Charge in Victory Over Knicks

As the spotlight shone on the clash between the Denver Nuggets and the Phoenix Suns—highlighted by Nikola Jokic’s groundbreaking achievement of registering the first-ever 30+20+20 game in NBA history—other games were unfolding that same night, notably the Los Angeles Clippers’ victory over the New York Knicks.

In a home game, the Clippers secured a 105-95 win, largely thanks to Ivica Zubac, who delivered a solid performance with a double-double of 16 points and 14 rebounds.

Additionally, two other Europeans played crucial roles in overcoming the Knicks: Nicolas Batum contributed 17 points, hitting five out of seven from three-point range, while Bogdan Bogdanovic added 8 points and grabbed 12 rebounds off the bench.

“That was a great team victory, and we really stuck together,” remarked the French veteran. “I got some open shots; I don’t think Thib (Tom Thibodeau) had any special strategy for guarding me,” he noted about his performance.

On the Knicks’ end, OG Anunoby recorded 11 points and 8 rebounds in the defeat.

In other league action, Jonas Valanciunas posted 15 points, 12 rebounds, and 6 assists to propel Sacramento to a win over the Spurs, while Jeremy Sochan from San Antonio chipped in with 9 points and 8 rebounds.
