According to the team, forward Paul George of the Philadelphia 76ers will be out of action for the next six weeks following injections in his left adductor muscle and left knee. This development means he will be unable to participate for the rest of the regular season.

The nine-time All-Star signed with Philadelphia as a free agent during the offseason but has been unable to find his stride throughout the 2024-25 campaign. He concluded the season averaging 16.2 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 4.3 assists across 41 games.

Currently, the Sixers hold a 23-44 record, placing them 12th in the Eastern Conference standings.
