MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP)— The Memphis Grizzlies are expected to be without forward Brandon Clarke for the remainder of the regular season due to a sprained right knee.

On Saturday, the Grizzlies provided an update regarding Clarke, who sustained the injury during Wednesday’s defeat against Portland. The team revealed that he has a significant PCL sprain caused by a fall in the first quarter of that game.

Memphis stated that a more detailed recovery timeline would be announced once a treatment plan is established.

The Grizzlies are currently on a three-game losing streak and hold a 5-5 record over their last ten outings, causing them to drop from second to fifth place in the Western Conference, just one game behind Denver. They are amid a five-game road trip, with two remaining games against Utah on Tuesday and Oklahoma City on Thursday.

The team has 11 regular-season games left. Clarke has participated in 64 games this season, ranking third on the team behind rookie Jaylen Wells (71) and Scotty Pippen Jr. (69). He averages 8.3 points and 5.1 rebounds per game across 18.9 minutes.
