Devin Booker led the Phoenix Suns to a narrow 108-106 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks with just 2.4 seconds left in the fourth quarter, hitting a mid-range jumper that secured his team’s fourth straight win of the 2024-25 NBA Regular Season.
Giannis Antetokounmpo, in a post-game press conference held at PHX Arena, noted, “We needed to make a defensive stop. If we had managed that, the outcome could have been quite different. Devin Booker found his space and took a wide-open shot. We’ll need to review the film to understand how that unfolded.”
Despite being a game-time decision due to right patella tendinopathy, Giannis played 37 minutes, finishing with 31 points on 12 of 19 shooting, including one three-pointer, along with 10 rebounds, five assists, and a steal.
Reflecting on the game, Giannis stated, “For the entire 48 minutes, I believe everyone put forth a strong effort and played with great intensity. We generated many steals and deflections. However, we certainly need to improve our rebounding and capitalize on second-chance points. While we didn’t secure the win, I feel optimistic about our progress moving forward because that’s essential for us to become a strong team.”
The latest encounter between the Greek superstar and Kevin Durant was marked by a notable physical confrontation.

Meanwhile, Serbian Vasilije Micic remained inactive on the Suns’ bench as head coach Mike Budenholzer did not utilize him. This game marked Budenholzer’s first matchup against the Bucks since his firing in 2023.
