In a thrilling conclusion, the Chicago Bulls triumphed over the Los Angeles Lakers, securing a 119-117 victory at the United Center on Thursday.
Thanks to a series of crucial plays, Josh Giddey made a dramatic halfcourt shot that clinched the win for the Bulls against their visitors.

The Slovenian star finished the match with a double-double, scoring 25 points and grabbing 10 rebounds, as his team fell to 44-29 in the 2024-25 NBA Regular Season. He also contributed eight assists and two steals. Ukrainian Alex Len did not see action, while German Maxi Kleber remained on the injury list following foot surgery, as the team led by JJ Redick dealt with these challenges.

The Bulls’ starting center, Nikola Vucevic from Montenegro, was cleared to play despite a right mid-back strain and logged 32 minutes on the court, scoring 14 points with eight rebounds, two blocks, and two assists. Lithuanian Matas Buzelis, another starter, contributed 12 points, seven rebounds, and one assist in nearly 25 minutes of play.
Meanwhile, in Paycom Center, the Oklahoma City Thunder defeated the Memphis Grizzlies, 125-104. Isaiah Hartenstein from Germany recorded a double-double, finishing with 18 points, 11 rebounds, four assists, two blocks, and two steals. Ousmane Dieng of France (left calf strain), Ajay Mitchell from Belgium (right great toe surgery), and Nikola Topic of Serbia (left knee surgery) were all unable to play.
For the Grizzlies, starter Santi Aldama from Spain added ten points, five assists, five rebounds, and one steal.
