Alperen Sengun Leads Houston Rockets to Victory with Stellar 31-Point Performance Against Thunder

Having secured their place in the NBA Playoffs, the Houston Rockets are determined to keep their momentum going, as evidenced by their 125-111 triumph over the Oklahoma City Thunder at home.

Alperen Sengun played a pivotal role in this victory, showcasing an outstanding performance with 31 points, hitting 11 of 21 from the floor and converting 9 of 12 free throws, along with contributing 4 assists and 3 steals.

“In the morning, we could see the determination on everyone’s faces. We wanted it more and we fought hard. When we are focused, there’s no team in this league that can defeat us. We’ll keep progressing,” he stated.

Houston’s success wasn’t reliant solely on Sengun; Jalen Green also shone brightly, adding 34 points and 5 assists to the scoreboard. “We always communicate effectively. Before this match, we told each other we had to carry the team,” he remarked.

On the Thunder’s side, Isaiah Hartenstein did his best to make an impact, finishing with 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists, but his efforts were not enough to secure a win for Oklahoma City.
