Bucks Secure Future with GM Jon Horsts Multi-Year Contract Extension

The Milwaukee Bucks and their general manager Jon Horst have finalized a multiyear contract extension, according to a report by ESPN.

This agreement comes prior to the end of Horst’s current contract, during which he has led the team to an NBA championship and received the NBA Executive of the Year award in 2019.

At 42 years old, Horst began his career in basketball operations with the Bucks and the Detroit Pistons before being elevated to the role of GM for the Bucks in 2017.

During his tenure, the Bucks have reached the playoffs for eight consecutive seasons, boasting a winning percentage of .647.

In the current season, the Bucks, with a record of 48-34, secured the No. 5 seed in the Eastern Conference. They are currently trailing 2-0 to the Indiana Pacers in their first-round playoff matchup.
