According to Shams Charania, Dante Exum is set to sign a one-year contract to continue with the Dallas Mavericks for the 2025-26 season.
Charania notes that Exum had two other teams vying for his services before ultimately opting to stay in Dallas.
During the 2024-25 season, Exum put up averages of 8.7 points, 2.8 assists, and 1.7 rebounds in 18.6 minutes per game. The 29-year-old guard made his return in January after recovering from a wrist injury but managed to play only 20 games before encountering a broken arm in March.
In the 2022-23 season, Exum had a standout EuroLeague performance with Partizan Belgrade, which paved the way for his return to the NBA with the Mavericks the following summer.
