In the season’s inaugural matchup, the reigning champions, the Oklahoma City Thunder, triumphed over the Rockets 125-124 after a thrilling double overtime.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander contributed significantly for the Thunder with 35 points, while German big man Isiah Hartenstein provided six points, nine rebounds, and five assists. On the opposing side, alongside Sengun’s remarkable performance, Kevin Durant added 23 points.
