Timberwolves Star Anthony Edwards to Sit Out Two Weeks with Hamstring Strain

The Minnesota Timberwolves kicked off the new season with a record of two wins and one loss. However, following their recent victory against the Indiana Pacers (114-110), the Minneapolis franchise faced some unfortunate news.

Prominent NBA insider Shams Charania reported that the team’s star player, Anthony Edwards, will be sidelined for two weeks due to a strained right hamstring, an injury he incurred during the match against the Pacers.

On a positive note, a more severe injury has been averted, but the All-Star will be absent for upcoming games against the Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Lakers, Charlotte Hornets, Brooklyn Nets, New York Knicks, Utah Jazz, and Sacramento Kings.

Through the first three games of the season, Edwards has averaged 25.7 points, four rebounds, and two assists.
