Kyle Filipowski Update – An Ideal Fit In The Central Division?

Except for a very few players, the draft is a crap shoot. If you are a Zion Williamson or a Jayson Tatum, you know you’re going quite early in the draft. For the rest of the prospects, even if you have a good idea of where you’re going, a trade might change the order. Another team might take someone unexpected and upset the predicted order.

It’s just the nature of the thing.

It would be a big surprise if Duke’s Kyle Filipowski isn’t a first-round pick but sometimes strange things happen.

One of the teams that might take Filipowski, where he’d be an interesting fit, would be with Milwaukee.

The Bucks are not exactly the young Bucks. Eight players are in their thirties, including big man Brook Lopez, who is 36. Danilo Gallinari (6-10) is 35. Bobby Portis (6-10) is 29. Even the Greek Freak, Giannis Antetokounmpo, is 29.

This team could use some youth and you could see Filipowski in a great situation. And one of the better parts of joining that team at this time is that the Bucks could let him work his way in at his own pace.

Long story short, it could be an ideal situation for Filipowski.
