Luka Donic flamed out in a big way in game three, registering a whopping four fouls in the final frame thereby disqualifying from the game.
His complaining to officials has been a big story and rightfully so, but Luka do has to redirect his criticism to himself.
The truth is in the fourth quarter in this series, he’s logged more fouls than made field goals.
Yes, poor fouls, three baskets.
He’s totaled just eight points in the fourth quarter in this series, which is the fewest points scored in any three game span of his postseason career giving him a lowly 2.7 point scoring average in that final frame.
Coming into this series.
Luka Doc had earned the reputation as the best player in the game but his fading down, the stretch has undercut that status more than anything in the fourth quarter in this series.
He’s shooting just three of 15 from the floor missing all four of his three point attempts in 25 minutes of action and look, Luka Donic is banged up and the Boston Celtics defense has been outstanding but if the Dallas Mavericks wanna get back into this series and avoid an embarrassing sweep.
Luka Donic has to look off the refs and into a mirror.
