The NBA finals are not done yet as the Dallas Mavericks stave off elimination by way of a massive win against the Boston Celtics in game four of their series.

And when I say massive, let’s be clear 122 to 84 a 38 point margin of victory in a game that frankly didn’t even feel that close from the outset.

It was clear that Dallas was gonna bring the energy as they had more of it from the opening tip and Luca obviously heard the noises.

Luka DC was disruptive in the first quarter on both ends of the floor and that continued throughout the course of the entire game.

Dallas brought the defense for the first time.

It felt like in this series.

And when you combine that with the efficiency and effectiveness of Luca and Kyrie on the offensive end, Luca with 29 Kyrie with 21 it was absolutely clear that the Mavs were trying to keep this thing going.

Now, what that’s the real question as this series moves back to Boston.

The question is, can the Celtics simply wash off an ugly effort and get back to who they’d been leading up to this game or have the Mavs uncorked some new momentum that will turn this finally into a series.

What I know now is that a lot of people in Boston were ready to celebrate and are getting the hard reality that it’s not over until it’s over.
