NBA News NBA News, Match Reports and UpdatesMIAMI, Fla. (WKYT) – Three-time NBA All-Star and former Kentucky Wildcat Bam Adebayo is reportedly set to land a maximum contract extension with the Miami Heat, it was reported today.
Shams Charania of The Athletic reported both sides are hoping to agree on a three-year deal worth $166 million. An extension would lock up Adebayo through the 2028-29 season.
This past season, Adebayo averaged 19.3 points and 10.4 rebounds, leading the Heat to the first round of the playoffs.
