After relinquishing a 21-point advantage, the New Orleans Pelicans secured a decisive 127-120 win against the Los Angeles Clippers at Smoothie King Center on Tuesday.
Karlo Matkovic, who came off the bench in his inaugural matchup against fellow Croatian center Ivica Zubac, contributed 15 points, four rebounds, two blocks, and one assist. Conversely, Zubac, a 27-year-old starter for the Clippers, recorded a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds, along with five assists and four blocks, while Zion Williamson nearly achieved a triple-double.
