Headline: Rockets Rally to Force Game 6: Senguns Grit Ignites Comeback Against Warriors

In a critical elimination match, the Houston Rockets established a commanding 31-point advantage and ultimately triumphed over the Golden State Warriors with a score of 131-116 at the Toyota Center.

With this victory on Wednesday, they trimmed the series deficit to 3-2, setting the stage for Game 6 at Chase Center on Friday.

During Game 5 of the 2025 NBA Playoffs’ Western Conference Quarterfinals, sponsored by Google, Alperen Sengun delivered an impressive performance, contributing 15 points, nine assists, nine rebounds, two blocks, and two steals in nearly 31 minutes of play.

“We didn’t want to go home, so winning was essential for us. Losing was not an option,” stated the 22-year-old Turkish center in the postgame media session. “There were plenty of lead changes over the course of the four games, so it was crucial for us to prevent them from mounting a comeback.”

After the Warriors narrowed the lead to 17 points, Sengun experienced a headbutt from Pat Spencer. With 4:14 remaining in the fourth quarter, the 28-year-old combo guard was sent off, while both Sengun and Trayce Jackson-Davis received technical fouls.

For the visiting team, Dutch player Quinten Post provided nearly 14 minutes off the bench, recording five points, two blocks, and two rebounds.
