Knicks Dominate Celtics, Advance to Eastern Conference Finals After 24-Year Hiatus

The New York Knicks triumphed over the Boston Celtics in Game 6, winning 119-81 and advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals, thus concluding the season for the reigning champions.

With the chance to wrap up the series on their home court, the Knicks featured six players who reached double-digit scoring. Jalen Brunson led the way with 23 points, while British forward OG Anunobi also contributed 23 points along with nine rebounds.

Karl Anthony-Towns recorded a double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds, Miles Bridges added 22 points, and Josh Hart achieved a triple-double, finishing with 10 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists.

This victory marks the Knicks’ return to the Conference Finals after a 24-year absence.

The Celtics, missing key player Jason Tatum, found themselves trailing by 41 points, with the Knicks leading by 27 at halftime (64-37).

Jaylen Brown scored 20 points for the Celtics, while Latvian player Kristaps Porzingis contributed four points and five rebounds, and Portuguese center Neemias Queta scored two points and secured one rebound.
