In a brief video, Haynes mentioned, “The Bucks have reached out to Giannis Antetokounmpo, and an important meeting is set for next week.” This will mark the first interaction between Giannis and the team’s management following the conclusion of the season.
The major topic of concern is the potential for Giannis to be traded, and the decision-making process will be closely monitored by both parties.
The Greek superstar is under contract through the summer of 2027, which includes a player option for the 2027-28 season. However, with Damian Lillard ending the season due to injury and Brook Lopez facing free agency, numerous unanswered questions linger.
