Selected for the 2024-25 Kia NBA All-Defensive First Team are Atlanta Hawks guard Dyson Daniels, Luguentz Dort of the Oklahoma City Thunder, Draymond Green, forward-center for the Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers forward-center Evan Mobley, and Amen Thompson, guard-forward with the Houston Rockets.
This marks the first time Daniels, Dort, and Thompson have been honored with a selection to the Kia NBA All-Defensive Team (either First or Second Team). Draymond Green has now achieved his fifth First Team accolade and has a total of nine selections to the All-Defensive Team. Similarly, for Mobley, who was named the 2024-25 Kia NBA Defensive Player of the Year, this is his second First Team selection, having received the same recognition in the 2022-23 season.

Meanwhile, the 2024-25 Kia NBA All-Defensive Second Team includes Portland Trail Blazers forward Toumani Camara, Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert, Memphis Grizzlies forward-center Jaren Jackson Jr., Oklahoma City guard-forward Jalen Williams, and Ivica Zubac, center for the LA Clippers.
Camara, Williams, and Zubac have all made their first appearances on the Kia NBA All-Defensive Team. This selection marks Gobert’s eighth All-Defensive Team honor and Jackson’s third, with both players now earning a spot on the Second Team for the first time.

A global panel of 100 media voters nominated five players for both the Kia NBA All-Defensive First Team and Second Team, which included any position. Each player received two points for a First Team vote and one point for a Second Team vote.
The complete 2024-25 Kia NBA All-Defensive Team is listed below, and detailed voting results are provided. An independent accounting firm, Ernst & Young LLP, tabulated the votes.
