Headline: Pascal Siakam Shines with 39 Points as Indiana Pacers Take Commanding 2-0 Lead Over Knicks

As fans anticipated the New York Knicks evening the series at 1-1 at Madison Square Garden after a dramatic loss in Game 1, the Indiana Pacers had other plans.

With a 114-109 victory in Game 2, the Pacers, led by coach Rick Carlisle, extended their series lead to 2-0 while securing an advantage as they head back home, potentially poised to close out the series in Indianapolis.

Pascal Siakam was a standout performer for Indiana, recording a playoff career high of 39 points on 15-of-23 shooting. In addition, he contributed 5 rebounds and dished out 3 assists.

However, Siakam was not alone in his team’s impressive performance, as five other players also scored in double figures. Tyrese Haliburton was just shy of a triple-double, finishing with 14 points, 11 assists, and 8 rebounds.

On the New York side, Jalen Brunson delivered a commendable, yet unavailing, effort with 36 points and 11 assists. The Knicks utilized an 8-man rotation, with three additional players scoring in double digits. OG Anunoby, the British forward, tallied 16 points in the defeat, while Mikal Bridges contributed 20 points along with 7 rebounds.

Currently, two teams boast a 2-0 lead in their respective Conference Finals. Indiana remains undefeated against New York, and Oklahoma City is similarly holding a 2-0 advantage over Minnesota.
