Headline: Bogdan Bogdanovic Shines with 30 Points as Clippers Overpower Heat 119-105

Taking the lead, Bogdan Bogdanovic shone brightly for the Los Angeles Clippers, guiding them to a decisive 119-105 victory over the Miami Heat at Kaseya Center on Wednesday night.

With head coach Tyronn Lue missing his third consecutive game of the 2024-25 NBA Regular Season due to back issues, and Kawhi Leonard absent as part of a back-to-back schedule, Bogdanovic elevated his performance in the starting lineup under acting head coach Brian Shaw. The 32-year-old Serbian guard scored a season-best 30 points on an impressive 11-of-16 shooting, including four made three-pointers. He contributed ten rebounds and four assists in nearly 38 minutes of play.

Another standout performance came from Croatian center Ivica Zubac, who achieved a double-double with 26 points and 14 rebounds, adding one assist in the same playing duration. French player Nicolas Batum also started, contributing six points, two assists, two rebounds, and a steal in just under 33 minutes.

On the other side, Serbian Nikola Jovic remained off the court due to a fractured right hand. Meanwhile, Swedish player Pelle Larsson played for 28 minutes, finishing with ten points, three assists, and one rebound for the Miami team coached by Erik Spoelstra.

Reflecting on a key moment, 24-year-old Larsson remarked, “I should have just called a timeout. That would have been easier,” as he recounted his determination to dive for a loose ball in the second quarter. “I remembered a play in Philly when the ball was on the floor, and I didn’t go after it. It stuck with me for a while, so I’m glad I got that one back.”

With this victory, the Clippers improved to a record of 36-30, while the Heat dropped to 29-36.
