“I’ve been contending with a viral illness that we have not been able to completely identify. I’m on the mend and improving, but I am still striving to regain my full strength to assist the team. I appreciate the support and hope to make a healthy comeback soon,” Porzingis stated.
The Latvian big man is averaging 18.9 points and 6.8 rebounds per game this season. Nevertheless, the Celtics have succeeded in their last four matches without him, currently boasting the second-best record in the Eastern Conference with 47 wins and 18 losses.
